OHA has been recognized by ONCC (Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation); over half of our nursing staff is certified in oncology.

OHA is the recipient of the 2011 Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Employer Recognition Award (less than 25 RNs). OHA encourages its nursing staff to be active in their professional organization and interact/network with peers all over the world.

The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is a professional organization of over 37,000 registered nurses and other healthcare providers dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, research, and administration in oncology nursing.

ASCO's Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI®) is an oncologist-led, practice-based quality improvement program.

QOPI's goal is to promote excellence in cancer care by helping practices create a culture of self-examination and improvement. The process employed for improving cancer care includes measurement, feedback, and improvement tools for hematology-oncology practices.
