Chemotherapy Side Effects

    Our patients undergo intensive patient education regarding both symptoms of cancer and side effects that can occur during chemotherapy. If patients experience these side effects and need assistance, we ask that they call us first for advice.

    Sometimes symptoms experienced during the treatment of cancer exceed the capabilities of our patient clinic, and therefore, telephone calls to us will result in a recommendation to present to the nearest emergency room or hospital for treatment.
